Ask most golfers, and they’ll tell you the game is as much about the setting as it is putting the little white ball into the hole. Our local golf venue is as perfect as it gets.
Meadow Lark Country Club sits at the confluence of the Sun and Missouri Rivers. It’s one of the premier Country Clubs in the Pacific Northwest. The large main clubhouse is the crown jewel of traditional private Country Clubs in Montana.
The greens at Meadow Lark are the glory of the course, and present monumental challenges to even the best golfers. This magnificent course features humps and hollows, steps and terraces, and false fronts and slopes protected by grassy swales, mounds and strategically placed bunkers.
The fairways roll back and forth over forested parkland. Pines, Ash, Willows, and Cottonwood trees, as well as sand and water make good driving a must! Water is in play on nine of the holes, with a series of ponds and the Missouri River providing the challenge.
The grand finale, known as River Run, begins at the fifteenth hole and finishes on number eighteen where golfers must avoid the Missouri. Regardless your skill level, Meadow Lark is challenging, but enjoyable because of the great flexibility allowed by its four sets of tees. “Golf Digest” rated it as the 3rd “Best in State” course for 1995-96, and the 4th best for 1997-98. Can our Concierge set a tee time for you?
