Only 20 miles from the Ranches at Belt Creek, Showdown Ski Area has been known for its family friendly atmosphere and amazing all natural snow. Nestled in the heart of the Little Belt Mountains, Showdown has a base area elevation that’s higher than many summits and a location that places it right in the middle of the winter storm paths.  The result is that Showdown gets the good snow – and keeps it longer.

Winter cloaks Porphyr Peak with an annual snowfall average of 240-inches on an astounding 640 acres perfect for skiing. With 3 lifts, 34 runs, and 1400 feet of vertical drop, Showdown is skiing the way this sport was meant to be enjoyed – less crowded – with fun and challenge around every turn.

The snow is deep. The powder is pure. And the lift lines are so short you’ll barely have time to catch your breath. You can rent your skis or snowboard here and grab a bite to eat at the King’s Hill Grill or Hole-in-the-Wall Saloon.
